150 Year Celebrations

The Wodonga Cricket Club had its beginning on July 7th, 1869 when a public meeting held in Mackay’s Border Hotel, chaired by Mr Albert Dibley decided to establish a cricket club to compete against other teams in the district.

The 2019/20 cricket season represents 150 years of the Wodonga Cricket Club auspicing the sport in Wodonga.

To recognise this a weekend of celebrations will be held on 14/16 February 2020.

There will be a welcome on the Friday night at Les Cheesley Oval with a junior match followed by our senior teams all playing at or near home on the Saturday.

A function will be held at the Clubhouse Bar & Bistro to reflect on the clubs history and share many stories.

On the Sunday a recovery barbeque will be held at the Cheese with our Over 60s hosting a home game.

We would like to get as many past players and our army of supporters in town for this weekend.
